1910: The Vanderbilt Hotel

Photograph of The Vanderbilt Hotel at 4 Park Avenue, between East 33rd and 34th Street in the Murray Hill neighborhood of Manhattan. It was built as in 1910-13, designed by Warren & Wetmore. The old crypted vault of the hotel is a NYCLPC interior landmark, and is currently a restaurant.
